List of people who have threatened to sue Linda Ikeji

  Over the years, the popular blogger has made giant strides in the blogging sector of this country but she has also made enemies in high places as well. These are a few of the times she was threatened to be sued and why.



1.  Maje Ayida
When the news erupted that Ayida had impregnated his ex-girlfriend even while married to Toke who is yet to conceive, the social media went on fire with the gist.

However, in a twist to events, a new Twitter handle @MajeAyida emerged and was tweeting about the occurrences, denying that Maje ever cheated on Toke Makinwa.

It couldn't be confirmed if the account is really owned by Toke Makinwa’s husband.

2. Funke Akindele
Ms. Akindele asked Ms. Ikeji to retract and apologise within 24 hours for a post on Ms. Ikeji’s blog published on January 25, titled, Did Funke Akindele shade Toyin Aimakhu last night?

In the post, Ms. Ikeji suggested that an Instagram picture on Ms. Akindele’s page was intended as a slight on fellow actress, Ms. Aimakhu, who was recently rumoured to have separated from her husband, Adeniyi Johnson.

3. Doyin Okupe
The Senior Special Assistant to the former President on Public Affairs, Dr. Doyin Okupe threatened to sue Nigeria’s leading blogger, Lnda Ikeji for character defamation over a misleading story published on her blog.

4. @SlymanAbkr
A twitter user tweeted about a mechanic who bashed his uncle’s brand new 2 week old Mercedes Benz, and shared pictures of the incident on twitter, well, the Twitter user wasn’t pleased with the fact that he ended up on her blog (or wasn’t he?).
































5. Richard Mofe-Damijo


Veteran actor, Richard Mofe-Damijo took a swipe at Linda Ikeji over a news posted on her blog that the actor acquired a N250 million home in Asaba, Delta State.

Linda Ikeji reportedly broke the news first on her blog yesterday, but the Nollywood actor came out to debunk it. The actor threatened to seek legal redress if the blogger did not retract the story.



6.  Omu Resort, Lagos

This was due to a story reported by Linda Ikeji on her Blog published on Sunday 2, November concerning a severe allegation regarding the attack of artiste, OmoAkin by one of the resort’s animal.
